This is how our wedding album looks like.. the left panel is a maroon color velvet-like material, and the right panel is a see-through acrylic which allows 2 of our profile pic to to be seen through the plastic when the album cover is closed. But this whole piece of maroon velvety material and the acrylic acts like a complete one-piece of cover.

30" by 40" bedroom picture
Hello ladies..this is our big bedroom photo which I was talking about in SGbride forum. Its size is 30" by 40", lovely size because I didn't like those one-pose type (size is maybe 12" by 20" or something like that) and you know nowadays bedroom walls are quite big..so by having a big beautiful montage wedding photo like ours, it will also help to "decorate" your bedroom wall :)) So basically, you can choose a few of your chosen shots (for your album-to-print) and they will help you to arrange all the shots in one single photo--usually termed "montage" photo. But one thing to note is try to choose those that are taken from one scene/scenery, like for example if you look at ours, 4 out of the 5 poses are our actual wedding gown attire, taken indoor; only 1 pose was taken outdoor in another attire. So di Gio's graphics designer has made that last odd shot into a mono-color "background" effect, which suits our photo perfectly well, brilliant! 谢谢你! Manhu (graphics designer whom I was working with)
Oh ya, another thing is that it is sometimes not a bad idea to talk to the graphics designer directly because you can better convey your ideas/thoughts/preferences/ of what type of layout/flow of the photos you want to have in your wedding album. If you try to tell your coordinator your preferences and then wait for your coordinator to feedback to the graphics team and then they do the correction and let you see the results again..bla bla bla..usually a third party would not be able to completely understand your ideas and feedback correctly.. so to save time and hassle, I would recommend to communicate with the graphics team directly (if you don't mind doing it yourself, because I know some people will feel like "oh, I paid so much money, so I should get as much service as possible by the bridal shop people"). For the benefit of the whole situation..as we know wedding prep can get very chaotic and nerve-breaking towards the end, its better to give and take, in situations whenever we can..
Wedding Album digital layout
hmmm..because of the hassle to upload 80 individual shots one by one..i ended up loading only my wedding album digital layout, which is only 20 items. Our wedding album's cover is something like velvet material, maroon color, size is 18" by 20" with half acrylic cover on its front. Our initial package was already upgraded from a basic of 30 poses to 45 poses, but because of so many beautiful pictures which I like, so we topped up another $2.5k to a final total of 80 poses, afterwhich sweet sweet Amanda (my MUA) gave us back all the 300 odd raw shots in soft copies :DD
~the Birth of our Wedding blog~
hello..oh..because of so many requests for me to send these ladies my wedding shots after i wrote in SGBrides forum under di Gio thread..hence I decided to start a blog..so that the BTBs from di Gio can see my 80 chosen bridal shots, my album layout..my actual day photos..which i will slowly upload..After spending almost 10k on the bridal package, i see no point in just keeping the album in some dark corner and collect dust..why not share soft copies with the rest..especially when our wedding photos are all so pretty..hee..I will also post our self-made wedding montage later on..
Well..actually did play with the idea of blogging about our wedding preps during the preparation period but was simply too overwhelmed by the preps..that i lost 5 kg in the last 2 months?! therefore..no time= gave up the idea of blogging..
Now that our wedding is over, and I have more time to do my own stuff, other than being the occasional "housefly" (housewife lah)..I can write a blog, for the first time of my life!! haha..
I will also be posting relevant information on all the vendors which I have used for our wedding, because I know that there are a lot of BTBs out there who need such references :)
